NUCAP R&D Center receives accreditation from GM Brake Component Development Group

Mr. Hugo Castrillon, NUCAP Industries Inc’s Director of the NUCAP R&D Testing Facilities, announced yesterday that the facility has been approved by GM Brake & Chassis Group for the provision of General Motor’s GMW14591TP test procedure (Dynamometer Brake Squeal Evaluation Procedure).

“This is a very important first step for our test facility,” stated Mr. Castrillon, adding, “it’s just the first in a number of accreditations that we are seeking from GM, but we’re very proud to have earned the approval to provide validation testing for GM components.”

NUCAP’s R&D Center is a full service testing facility, including capabilities for shear and environmental testing. Working in conjunction with Link Testing, NUCAP’s R&D Center, the facility is capable across a broad range of SAE-standard Brake Friction tests.
